NAME: Albert

HOMETOWN: Tempe, Arizona (it hasn’t been easy staying in my rut)

FAVORITE FILM CHARACTER AND WHY: Well, there was this one character in the background of the Star Was cantina scene. He didn’t have any lines or do anything important, and was off-camera for most shots, but still, there was something about him. Something noble about the way he leaned there...looking...as if he was looking into your very soul, saw what was inside, and said “be at peace, my wayward son.” It exuded an ineffable power and confidence that was more than a little compelling. It really changed my life and, well, this is kinda embarrassing, but that’s why I wanted to get into radio!

WHO HAVE YOU MET IN YOUR LIFE THAT MOST IMPRESSED YOU?: Abraham Lincoln

IF YOU WERE A FAMOUS ROCKSTAR, AND YOU WERE ON TOUR, WHAT WOULD BE IN YOUR CONCERT RIDER/REQUEST SHEET?: Orphans (two dozen minimum, the more crushed their spirits the better), several cases of 7-Up Gold (not in production since the late ‘80s so that’s a tough one), one beaker full of everything on the periodic table of the elements (so I can mix it all up in a bowl and dare my friends to drink it).

DO YOU HAVE A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?: My life inspired the story behind the recent major motion picture “The Aviator”.

WHAT IS THE 1ST CONCERT YOU EVER WENT TO AND WHERE WAS IT?: Dr. Johnny Thundertone and the Swingin’ Good Time Maternity Ward Singers, Desert Samaritan Hospital.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 5 FAVORITE CDs?:
1) “Doolittle,” Pixies
2) “Vs.,” Pearl Jam
3) “Paul’s Boutique,” The Beastie Boys
4) “The Queen is Dead,” The Smiths
5) “Schizophrenic,” J.C. Chasez
